At reports.leadingbuildinginspections.com.au, we sell building and timber pest reports for residential properties. These reports are made available for purchase by home buyers to assist in making informed property decisions.
Because our reports are digital products and delivered instantly after purchase, our refund and returns policy differs from policies for physical goods.
1. Digital Products – No Change of Mind Refunds
Under Australian Consumer Law (ACL), we are not required to provide a refund if you change your mind after purchasing a report. Please ensure you have selected the correct property address and report before finalising your order.
2. When You May Be Entitled to a Refund
You may be eligible for a refund or replacement if:

The report you receive is not as described on our website.

The report is incomplete, corrupted, or cannot be accessed due to a fault on our side.

There is a major failure under the ACL, meaning the report is substantially different from what was advertised or is unusable.
Refunds will not be issued if:

3. How to Request a Refund

If your refund is approved, it will be processed back to your original payment method within 10 business days.
4. Sale Items
Reports purchased at a discounted price are non-refundable, except where required by law.
5. Gift Purchases
If you received a report as a gift, any approved refund will be issued to the original purchaser.
